Why Marlo's

For the ones who know good matcha.

Not all matcha is created equal.

Ours is sourced directly from Japan — where the craft of growing, shade-harvesting and stone-grinding matcha has been perfected for generations.

We bring that to you without the compromise. Because if you're going to drink matcha, it should taste like the real thing.

Made With Pure Japanese Matcha. Loved in Australia.

Got questions?

The ones we get asked most.

  • Most commercial matcha is low-grade and inconsistent — not ideal when your menu depends on it. Ours is sourced directly from Japan, shade-grown and stone-ground for a flavour that holds up every single serve.
  • Unopened: typically 12 to 24 months from packaging, best quality within the first 3 to 6 months if stored cool and dry. Opened: best within 60 to 90 days for peak flavor and vibrancy, though it stays usable for up to 12 months if kept airtight, cool, and out of light. Matcha oxidizes quickly once exposed to air, quality may slowly deteriorate.
  • Yes. Our blend contains only pure Japanese matcha and organic cane sugar, no dairy included. Simply add the milk of your choice to suit your taste.
  • A 500g pouch gives you around 70–100 serves depending on your pour — perfect for busy café volumes. Stock up and keep the consistency going from open to close. (Serve count adjusted for 5–7g per serve.)
  • Yes. As it's made from pure Japanese matcha, there's naturally occurring caffeine, generally around 40 to 90mg per serve, comparable to a standard cup of tea.
  • Hot: Whisk 5 to 7g of Marlo's blend with a small splash of hot water, around 70 to 80°C, just off the boil, until smooth. Then add your steamed milk or milk of choice. Iced: Whisk the same amount with a splash of cold water until smooth, then pour over ice and add milk. Because it's already balanced with organic cane sugar, there's nothing else to measure out. Just whisk and pour.
  • Absolutely — it's what we're built for. Fill in our stockist form and our team will be in touch within 2 business days to talk volumes, pricing and getting Marlo's on your menu.
